This adaptation of a scene from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (1971) was my final film for NYU’s Sight and Sound Studio course. The challenge was to shoot an engaging story on a TV studio soundstage.

In this short documentary on the exodus of children from Paris in 1940, I interviewed my grandmother and her twin sisters about growing up during the war. French language subtitled in English.
